Special Projects

Back to School

We want all of our members to achieve academic success, but many don’t have the essential tools they need to succeed. Each year, BGCPC works with local businesses and groups to provide backpacks with all the required school supplies to hundreds of Club kids that would not be prepared for the first day of school without the community’s generosity.

Contact  Director of Development, for more information on how your team can get involved (give@bgcpueblo.org or 719.564.0055 x104).

Christmas

Do you want to help put a smile on child’s face this Christmas? Each year, BGCPC works with local businesses and groups to provide Club kids with a special Christmas Party, where every child receives a new gift. It is always a wonderful experience for Club kids and volunteers!  Contact Director of Development, for more information on how your team can get involved (give@bgcpueblo.org or 719.564.0055 x104).

• Blue Jeans for Blue Doors – host dress down days and have employees donate $5 per day to support the Club.
• Community-wide events – car show, car wash, etc.
• Restaurants – round-up campaigns, pie sales, etc.

How will the Club assist?

$2,500+
For a donation of $2,500 or more, we will promote your event through social media; we will have five Club kids and one Staff member attend your event for 3 hours; and host a check presentation at your event or Clubhouse of your choice (must be scheduled in advance).

$1,000 - $2,499*
For a donation between $1,000 and $2,499, we will promote your event through social media; have two BGCPC staff members attend your event for 2 hours; and host a check presentation at your event or Clubhouse of your choice (must be scheduled in advance).

<$999*
For a donation of $999 or less, we will host a scheduled check presentation at Clubhouse of your choice.

* Attendance of Club kids requires Club staff to escort. Because the Club is closed on weekends and select weeks during the year and Club staff do not normally work weekends, it is difficult for BGCPC to meet these requests due to increased overhead (staff overtime).
