John Linck

John became a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County’s Board of Directors in March 2015.

He has been employed with United Technologies/Goodrich Corporation for 23 years and currently is the Manager of Carbon Research and Development at United Technologies Aerospace Systems. John also is an Adjunct Professor at Colorado State University-Pueblo where he teaches Materials Science Engineering in the spring semester.

John also volunteers his time on other committees including: Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado, Junior Achievement Classroom volunteer and Religious Educator at Christ the King Parish. He has Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Masters of Business Administration from Colorado State University – Pueblo.  

With respect to the mission of BGCPC, John believes young people are the future of our country. He is a strong believer of good education and believes intelligent capable people can be found everywhere. Young people today need support from adult members of the community to inspire them to do better and look for opportunities beyond what might be directly apparent to them as a result of their current environment. John has been known to say to his students that his job as a teacher is to educate, inspire and entertain.
