Julie became a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County’s Board of Directors in June 2013.

She was raised in Pueblo and is a proud alumna of Pueblo Central High School and graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She currently works as the External Affairs Manager for Black Hills Energy and represents their electric, gas and exploration & production business units across the state of Colorado. Her duties include managing community relations, charitable giving and communications. 

Her background includes fundraising and nonprofit management for numerous organizations including the Steelworks Center for the West, Colorado State University - Pueblo Foundation, the Democratic National Convention, City of Denver, Colorado School of Mines and Metropolitan State University of Denver. 

Julie is very committed to serving the Pueblo community and honored to have been asked to serve on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County Board of Directors. The Club’s mission fits perfectly with her passion in working with youth and ensuring they have opportunities to become leaders and thrive in any endeavor undertake.
