Friends of the Club
By joining our "Friends of the Club" mailing list, you expand a network that can support our members who have urgent needs.
The Friends of the Club group is comprised individuals, as well as representatives from professional, civic, and social clubs/groups, who care about kids and are willing to help when a specific need arises. There are no formal meeting requirements! Urgent needs are sent in an email blast to all registered Friends. The first person to claim the request and fulfill the need is acknowledged in the email chain and you don't hear from us again until another need arises.
Examples of the types of requests we send to this email network include:
- School fees such as cap and gown purchases, athletic team/extracurricular fees, or other course fees
- Job interview clothing needs for our teens
- Sports equipment like cleats for our members who want to participate in school or private league sports
- Hygiene supplies for youth who may be temporarily unable to afford personal items
