The Boys and Girls Club has given Josiah a place where he can truly shine. It has become a place where he has grown into a confident, compassionate, and dependable leader. Since becoming a member, he has flourished socially and emotionally. Josiah eagerly participates in activities, embraces new opportunities, and consistently encourages those around him to try it as well. One of the most remarkable qualities he has developed is his desire to help others succeed. During Mango Math, if he notices another member struggling with a problem, he does not hesitate to offer his help. He patiently explains the goal of the activity and how to solve the problem in different ways. His kindness and willingness to support others have helped create a welcoming and encouraging learning environment for everyone. Josiah’s confidence has grown tremendously through his involvement at the Club. He has learned that leadership isn't about being the loudest member in the room, but it's about making a positive difference. Every day, he demonstrates these qualities through his actions, making the Club a better place simply by being himself.

Josiah has demonstrated the values of good character, leadership, and service in everything he does. Although he is energetic and enjoys staying active, he is also thoughtful and aware of the needs of other members. Rather than focusing only on himself he consistently takes the time to help members who may be struggling with an activity. His patience, encouragement, and ability to explain things in a way others can understand makes him a trusted friend and a role model among other members. He leads through kindness and compassion. He is respectful to staff, follows directions, and sets a positive example for other members. He naturally creates an environment where others feel welcome, included, and supported. His cheerful personality and positive attitude are contagious, and his smile brightens up any room. Whether he participates in academic activities or games, Josiah brings enthusiasm and encouragement wherever he goes. What truly makes Josiah deserving of this recognition is not just what he accomplishes, but the impact he has on those around him. He reminds others that success is even more meaningful when it is shared. His leadership and genuine care of the members and staff embody the mission and values of the Boys and Girls Club. Josiah is an outstanding example of what it means to be a Kid of the Month, and we are incredibly proud to nominate him.
