Laithan has come a long way from when he first started. For example, he would have conflicts with members and staff. Where now he participates in community service and other programs such as gym games and high yield learning activities. Laithan has also learned how to voice his concerns and thoughts with the staff here at the club. For example, if feels that he is being mistreated or treated unfairly, he will ask the staff to speak separately and voice his side of the situation.

Laithan demonstrates good character by owning up to his mistakes and taking full responsibility for something when he is in the wrong. For example, on Friday, Laithan took his snack out of the kitchen and when was approached by the staff, he admitted to it and returned to the kitchen to finish his snack. Laithan shows good leadership by avoiding confrontation and removing himself from situations and staying away from peers that can occasionally get him into trouble.

Laithen said "I plan to make the world a better place by helping the elderly with yard work and correcting people when they are in the wrong. I will also try and spread the word of being kind to others."
