The Club has been a place where Lukas is able to play with his friends, feel safe, and it has been a comfortable place for him. He is always happy, polite, and caring towards staff and peers. Lukas is such a strong leader even though he is only 6 years old. Many of the kids look up to him because he is so nice to everyone and feels like everyone should be included. He is not shy in sharing his ideas and asking people to be his friend. At the Heroes and Helpers event the cop was in awe of him because of his giving heart. Lukas wanted nothing for himself and wanted to pick gifts for his parents and siblings because that is just the kind of kid he is.

Lukas wants to make the world a better place by helping others. He looks up to the older members at the Club and noticed they helped people by raking the leaves at their houses. Lukas said, “I’ll rake up leaves!” which shows his attention and givenness to others. Lukas said the Club makes his life better, “I get to make new friends, all my friends are here and you guys do things I like.”
