When Fiona first started coming to the line in the gym right after school, her behavior was very calming. She was a very shy person; with that she would try to follow the staff around. As months pass by, she has become a member who has opened up more about her life and school. In return of her growing and opening up she has detached herself from staff and gained deeper connections with her fellow members. Since day one she has demonstrated herself to be happy, responsible, values her manners, and most importantly respectful. When she has the opportunity to participate in any activity she can and will take the initiative to do what it takes to make sure she makes everyone happy. She encourages other Avondale Elementary students to join her best place on Earth (welcoming, safe place and second home full of fun activities). 

 Fiona models good character very well and encourages her fellow members to do the same. She often questions members when they do certain actions and asks if that is appropriate. When she does question, they themselves question it as well. Whether she is asked to do a task or not she follows through with no hesitation. When it is time for staff to check homework progress, Fiona is first with a computer ready for a check and holds her fellow members accountable for what needs to be done for the day's homework. Even on days she does not have homework she continues to help her fellow members and assures them they get their homework done as well. And if she sees help is needed by staff she is quick to jump right in and help members, whether this is with homework, being a friend, STEM Activities, or arts and crafts. Fiona is a smart and organized member and enjoys doing all STEM based activities that are new to her. Other members always find her going back and forth with STEM and arts & crafts to do a creative engineering activity or painting. She enjoys doing community service when the opportunity is there for her and without asking there are times where she will pick up after other members. Overall, Fiona sees light under every tunnel. Fiona is the leader that members aspire to be!
