Armando Carranza

West Side Clubhouse Director
Armando Denova Carranza serves as the West Side Clubhouse Director and is instrumental in the Clubs' athletic program offerings. Armando graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology.
Being a first-generation American born to immigrant parents, Armando is closely connected to his culture and community. He is fueled by a strong work ethic, integrity, and the belief that everyone is entitled to a fair opportunity to succeed regardless of any social barriers.
He began his journey at Boys & Girls Clubs through an internship where he provided translating for the organization. He was offered a part-time position and transitioned to Physical Fitness Coordinator in that same timeframe, staying in that position for over a year.
