Data Entry Clerk I

Reports To: Director of IT & Data


Supervises: None


Hourly Wage Range: $15.50 – $17.50 per hour


Hours: Up to 8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM


Location: On-site

Job Purpose:


Data Entry Specialist responsible for supporting "Out of School Time" youth development programs. Core tasks include collecting, inputting, and maintaining information in primary Student Information Systems (SIS), relational databases, grant tracking software, and standard spreadsheet applications in compliance with Colorado Department of Education standards.

Principal Responsibilities:


  • Accurately enter and process pre/post-evaluation surveys, participant records, and program metrics into designated databases and spreadsheets.

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of IT and Data to maintain strict grant compliance.

  • Attend state-mandated or organizational compliance training as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Prior data entry experience preferred.

  • Strong computer, technical, and spreadsheet skills with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational capabilities.

  • Must pass a background check screening prior to hire.

Workplace Environment & Physical Requirements:


  • Sitting, using a computer keyboard, and talking on the phone up to 8 hours a day.

  • Standing, reaching, bending, squatting, walking, pushing, pulling, cleaning, and operating a motor vehicle.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds unassisted (and heavier loads with assistance).
