Employee/Donor FAQs
What does my gift support?
All individual contributions to the Clubs support the greatest needs and/or general operating expenses of our youth programs.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Payroll deductions (completed by your employer) are made pre-tax in most employer systems, which may reduce your taxable income. In addition, should your annual contributions meet or exceed $250, you can claim an additional 50% Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit. If you don't supply us with a physical address, you will need to request a tax form from us directly at kendrat@bgcpueblo.org. If you did supply an address, it will be automatically mailed by January 30th each year.
What if my employer doesn't have a workplace giving program?
If your Human Resources office doesn't offer payroll deduction through their office or a tool like Benevity, FrontDoor or OneCause, you may set up a recurring gift through our system using a credit card, checking account number or check card (simply click one of the boxes above).
