Youth of the Month
Since joining the Club last year, Eleeya has become much more outgoing. Initially, she was very shy, but she gradually stepped out of her comfort zone by participating in different Club events on Fridays. Her excitement at coming to the Club stems from her desire to see her friends and have fun. Eleeya values her education and takes full advantage of the tutoring services offered by the Club. She also recognizes the importance of the college tours hosted by the Club, and she has enjoyed learning about the numerous opportunities available to her. Through the Club, Eleeya has earned certifications in CPR/1st Aid and ServSafe. She is an easy-going young woman who enjoys the company of others and contributes to making the Club a welcoming place. The new environment and support from the Club have allowed her to meet new people and make new friends.

Eleeya demonstrates her commitment to service by actively supporting the various events that the Club offers. She is always one of the first teens to sign up for events such as college tours, career tours, and special events. At the Club, she has taken on a leadership role by showing new members around and helping them make friends. Eleeya is very active in her school and seizes leadership opportunities whenever possible. She believes that the Club has helped her explore different opportunities within both her school and community. Currently, she is involved in creative writing with her school and enjoys that moment.

Eleeya stated "The Club has made my life better by me being more social, meeting new people and making more friends. It's a really fun place for teens to hang out for us to do fun activities. By having people I can talk to about what I am dealing with emotionally, physically, and mentally."
