Although naturally quiet, Efren has found a place where he truly belongs at the Boys & Girls Club. The Club has helped him build confidence, develop meaningful friendships, and become an active participant in every opportunity available to him. Whether he is participating in Torch Club, celebrating his completion of the 3Rs curriculum, or joining daily activities with his younger brother and cousins, Efren approaches each experience with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. He is consistently engaged, eager to learn, and always willing to participate without hesitation or complaint.

Efren demonstrates leadership through his actions and the example he sets for others. As a member of Torch Club, he consistently shows kindness, respect, and gratitude. During a Club fundraiser, Efren independently approached the bus driver, shook his hand, and thanked him for supporting the fundraiser. His genuine act of appreciation inspired several other members to personally thank the adults who had supported the event as well. Without being asked, Efren created a moment that reflected his character and encouraged others to lead with gratitude, respect, and appreciation for those who support their Club.

Efren plans to make the world a better place by treating others with kindness, respect, and compassion. He strives to help those around him, care for the environment, and give back to his community through volunteer service. He believes that even small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact and hopes to inspire others by leading through his actions.
