Noni is described by her Clubhouse Director as a "gold star individual."  She is the first to stand up to injustice. Many times, she volunteers or asks to be team leader. Whatever she does, she will inspire and impact people while doing it.

Noni always goes above and beyond, has heart of gold, and demonstrates good character. At school, when kids were being mean and hurtful toward a substitute teacher, Noni asked the teacher if there was anything she could do for her, instead of bowing to peer pressure. Noni had the foresight to call the office to get the teacher some support. This takes an extreme amount of character, understanding and humanity to recognize someone in need and then act upon it.
