Ezekiel has been an active member of the Minnequa Boys & Girls Club for the past four years. Over that time, he has grown in many ways, but it was during this past school year that we witnessed the most significant transformation in him. This remarkable growth can be largely attributed to his deeper engagement with the Club’s programs—especially his participation in the Club's football league.

Through football, Ezekiel found a sense of belonging, teamwork, and discipline that extended beyond the field. The supportive relationships he built with both Club staff and fellow members played a critical role in his development. These connections helped Ezekiel feel seen, valued, and empowered, giving him the confidence to branch out and engage more fully in other areas of the Club.
