  • Inspire youth participation and help them build skills through positive role modeling.
  • Maintain records, attendance logs, and evaluations for program and grant compliance.
  • Supervise and support volunteers and program assistants.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and community outreach.

What You Bring

  • Associate’s degree in education, recreation, environmental studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working with children or youth programs.
  • Knowledge of youth development and behavior management.
  • Strong organization, communication, and group facilitation skills.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and working with underrepresented communities.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (training provided).
  • Must meet state background check and fingerprinting requirements.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Able to hike, bike, and participate in outdoor activities in varying weather conditions.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and staying active for extended periods.
  • Comfortable supervising groups in busy or changing environments.
  • Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
