Peter McCarthy, Secretary

Peter McCarthy is a fourth-generation Pueblo, Colorado, native. He graduated from Pueblo Central High School and Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colorado.

Peter has had a diverse business career including positions at QualMed Health and Life Insurance Company, Verisma Systems, Inc., and Pueblo Diversified Industries from which he retired in 2019. He has been very active in community affairs and leadership since the 1980s.  

Today’s young people are challenged with the future of Pueblo, and the rest of the world. Peter believes that our community’s investment of time, energy and resources in the Boys and Girls Club of Pueblo County are critical support to them as they face and shape their lives and this challenging future.
