Susana Uhl

Human Resource Coordinator

Susana began her career with Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County in 2023. As the Human Resource Coordinator, she oversees employee resource operations, including staffing, onboarding, employee engagement, and performance.

Prior to that, Susana has held positions as a human resource manager with a manufacturing plant, an HR Administrator with a doctor’s office, and HR roles with two wholesale companies. She has also been an educator in four states. In addition to working with BGCPC, she currently is the Secretary of the Blue Marble Penpals, a non-profit whose mission is to provide military, veterans, and their families with a farm visit. Her spouse and she own nine alpacas, a llama, three sheep, three chickens, and two cattle dogs.

Susana earned her Masters of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from University of Texas at Arlington. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Concordia College of Ann Arbor, MI.

She believes in BGCPC’s mission for several different reasons. Susana truly believes the Club offers the best experience for employees to grow and develop in a compassionate, positive, and rewarding environment. The Club staff are mentors to youth, and partners with parents and the community. While serving the staff every day, she joyfully provides them with support and resources. As a result, it is easier for our youth workers to transfer that care to the community that they serve.
