When Christian first stepped through the doors at the Boys & Girls Club he was very shy, never wanted to participate in programs, and would wait for his dad to pick him up. This past year Christian has tremendously opened up. Christian loves doing programs and hanging out with all of his new middle school friends that he has made at Club. Club has allowed him to make friends from school, and build a lot of new relationships especially in his transition from Elementary to Middle School. 

Christian embodies exemplary character and leadership through his inclusive approach and unwavering sportsmanship. He has a remarkable ability to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that everyone is involved. Since Christian used to be the shy kid on the side watching everyone else, he makes sure to get everyone participating and having fun. He does a great job encouraging younger members as well as his middle school peers. 

Christian stated “I want to convince people to decide on a truce so that there are no more wars.”
