Becky Medina
President & CEO
Becky Medina has dedicated more than three decades leading Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County’s work to help young people reach their full potential. As President & Chief Executive Officer, she brings a rare depth of institutional knowledge and an unwavering commitment to the youth and families of Pueblo County to every decision she makes.
Her journey with Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County began in 1994 as a volunteer working directly with youth. She joined the professional staff the following year and has since served in progressively responsible leadership roles, including Career & Education Coordinator, Clubhouse Director, Vice President of Operations, Chief Operating Officer, Interim Chief Executive Officer, and now President
& Chief Executive Officer.
Following a competitive national search, the Board of Directors selected Becky to lead the organization, citing her exceptional leadership, deep understanding of the community, unwavering commitment to the mission, and decades of service to Pueblo County youth and families.
Throughout her career, Becky has helped guide significant organizational growth, expanded access to high-quality youth programs, strengthened community partnerships, and advanced opportunities for thousands of young people across Pueblo County. As Chief Operating Officer, she provided executive leadership for a multi-site organization serving youth across the county, overseeing operations, strategic planning, youth safety, compliance, performance management, and community engagement. She is widely respected for her collaborative leadership style, commitment to continuous improvement, and ability to align people, systems, and resources around mission-driven outcomes.
Becky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental, Population, and Organismic Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is especially passionate about youth development, STEM education, and workforce readiness, and her professional expertise spans organizational leadership, strategic planning, grant management, and community partnership development.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Becky remains deeply engaged in the Pueblo community. She serves as an Executive Committee member for Communities That Care Pueblo and is a former Advisory Board Member for Colorado’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers initiative. An avid supporter of youth athletics, she coaches and volunteers with Girls on the Run and has held
numerous leadership roles with Southern Colorado Runners.
As President & CEO, Becky is committed to building on the strong foundation established by those who came before her, positioning Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County for continued growth, innovation, and impact. For Becky, the BGCPC role is an honor: “For more than three decades, Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County has been my professional home and my passion.
