Alejandro is now a very active, out-going boy. He loves to be at Club where can he can interact with his friends. He especially loves playing sports! He loves any and all of the gym games. He has participated in our inter-club teams for soccer, floor hockey and basketball. In his short time at the Avondale Clubhouse Alejandro has graduated from many programs. Some include 3 seasons of Bedtime Math. Healthy Habits, Smart Kids, Spark, Positive Action and STEM. He also makes sure to do his homework each day in Power Hour!

Alejandro also loves participating in his community service group, Kids Club. Last week they went for a little walk around our immediate neighborhood to pick up trash. I happened to be outside when they returned and he was so excited to show how much trash he picked up just walking down the road. His older sister recently turned 18 and started working as a part-time staff here at the Avondale Clubhouse. I’m certain that Alejandro could head in the same direction!

Alejandro said he wants to make the world a better place by becoming a professional basketball player and help provide sports equipment to kids in need.
